Information Security
Chapter 14 brought up interesting issues concerning technology and security. With protecting the library by using firewalls and anti-virus software, the book brought up some questions about censoring information. I feel that libraries are not censoring information, but saving themselves from viruses or potential lawsuits (if they allowed viewing of child pornography of something). I do feel that libraries need this protection so save themselves and their employees . I kind of feel that libraries might need to be even more careful for their employees' safety.
